it's not X-Men Rebirth, it just more of the same with new #1's. Gen X and X-Men Blue look like garbage beyond belief and Gold and Weapon X look like the most unambitious projects ever

only hope is the New Uncanny X-Men book which is rumored to be announced next week after IVX comes out.

To be fair, he had to play second fiddle to a lot of writers who had the main title. Wonder if they offered whatever characters he wanted and let him write a pitch, what he could come up with.
Then again, it would take real editors to rein his rumored fetishes in, and I'm not sure Marvel has any right now.

Here's another, maybe Yost working with him. The Kyle/Yost run was pretty good at following the tracks of Claremont's golden age, working together they could do something cool... or it could be the biggest disappointment ever.
