He won't ever have an active romantic subplot with one of the main characters, it'll just be mentioned off hand that he's gay. That or upon his return to Earth we'll find out he had someone waiting for his return or something.

Or I'm totally wrong and that Shiromelle train is gonna chug right out of the station. We shall see.

My next guess for the gay one would be Pidge so I'm kind of hoping to pass this off on Shiro. I don't think it would be Coran or limited to minor characters or villains, if their intention is inclusiveness, and it's someone we've already met.

If there's a token gay character at all. Still not convinced there has to be one no matter what.
