MC2 Black Tarantula stays basically unbeaten for the whole time, keeps his criminal empire and even manages to get his waifu back all while being generally polite, well mannered, effective and with a great supporting cast.

His only "defeat" comes down to not bedding Mayday.

This guy's character arc always stuck out to me for some reason. I loved how much attention he was getting in the early 00s Superman comics, and it's a damn shame they just decided to drop him rather than let him branch further out.
