it's certainly a good outfit, it just comes off as bland on Candace both because she wears it in most episodes(they really should have given her and Stacy multiple primary outfits instead of just one), and because she just doesn't have the figure yet to make it's best aspects apparent

honestly if I had a time machine and could make some changes to the show I'd have them redesign several of the main cast members(Phineas, Ferb, Candace, and Stacy primarily, although some of the other kid characters could use it as well) to be closer to the aesthetic that most of the background characters, Vanessa, and most characters introduced later in the show, and the Characters in Milo Murphy's law all use, cause they just really stick out like a sore thumb, and not in a good way(like it's really obvious that Phineas, Ferb, and Candace were designed for the more flat style of animation that was popular in the 90's when they were first created than for the more in depth style most shows at Disney used by the time it became a show), not to mention how awkward it makes making physical merchandise or 3D representations of the main characters

While that was part of it (particularly for Linda's original design as well as Buford and Irving), Phineas, Ferb, Candace, and Isabella were also designed to be easy for kids to draw.

Phineas and Ferb can be drawn reasonably well so long as you can manage squares as triangles while Candace is a modified P shape. Isabella is a semicircle and squares.

if P&F hadn't become such a huge hit so fast, I wouldn't be surprised if it would have gotten an American Dragon style visual overhaul after a season or two
