How could DC actually make a good Flash movie?

I'm not saying it has to be a Marvel-style comedy. But super speed is a fun power. There should be a sense of wonder.

Also don't make the villain a speedster.

By rebooting the entire DCEU and recasting everyone, thats a start. Id say start with The Rogues from the get go, establishing them as a well known gang that got upgrades in response to Flash and really drive home the thieves with a code thing. Sequel should then do Grodd, and then do Thawne for the trilogy finale. You could even do a brief Rogues/Flash uneasy teamup for either of those sequels, or introduce Jay Garrick. Couple key things though
>Barry is a smart guy, hes a forensic scientist, have him do light detective work to solve the issue
>Get creative with super speed. Everyone loved Quicksilvers shit in the X Men movies, Barry is the next level. Hurricane Hands, phasing through matter, time travel (plot permitting), infinite mass punch, etc.
>Barry should be the most relatable guy on the JL. Not saying full on quipping or needing to take parts of Wally's character mind you

Having one of the more comic book-y villains, and not writing out the things that make them interesting, would be a good start. They won't though. I really didn't think they could write Doomsday so horribly, when he's such a simple character.

In the middle of it, have the Flash accidently into multiversal travel, popping into an alternate Earth. This new Earth, Earth 2, has a lot in common with the world he is from but its better lit and everyone is just way less edgy and melodramatic.

After trying to figure out how to get home for the next 40 minutes, he eventually decides he likes this Earth better and he won't be leaving. The Earth-2 Flash sacrifices himself to resolve a Crises, and Earth 1 Flash takes his place as the new Flash of Earth 2.

All subsequent DCEU movies take place on Earth 2, and they use this opportunity to soft-reboot the franchise and let Earth 1 go full Injustice somewhere else. All of the bad writing and character assassination stays on Earth 1, and more competent writers get to fix the cinematic universe.

Bonus round: future movie is a crossover event where Earth 1 and Earth 2 end up fighting each other.

Id prefer if we didnt use Flash as a means to reboot the entire DCEU. Dont bother to waste time doing so, just hard reboot, dont acknowledge the previous films, and be done with it. Hell there was no reason to tie the Spider Man films together
