Morrison because Whedon only had 12 great issues. I personally enjoyed his other issues but the drop in quality was evident.

You should read Ellis' Astonishing X-Men run. It a perfect blend between Morrison's New X-Men and Joss Whedon's Astonishing X-Men while being its own run.

I also like the whole Sublime stuff so... Morrison.

However, I like Gifted and Unstoppable from Whedon's Astonishing run
