I know I'm giving myself false hope, but the Conner half of Powergirl was amazing

They obviously want to do more Powergirl,just bring her back. DC's done some pretty stupid retcons to make her come back for real during the Infinite Crisis, so they can do it here.

Then she remembers everything, and comes back, along with the rest of the JSA

This is just nothing, a guest appearance just because Atlee was in the story (as opposed to Ivy like it was solicited) and like so Palmiotti & Conner wanted to bring Pee-Gee in, this doesn't mean anything. Palmiotti himslef admitted that this book has 0 editorial inteference/oversee so they can do whatever they want, no mattering what happens in the rest of the other books
