Yeah I knew about all of that, its just Image is technically made of a bunch of smaller companies and in the 90s they did tons of promotional crossovers. Diehard helped Superpatriot remember who he was and Superpatriot blew the shit out of Spartan from Wildcats. But they aren't officially canon in each others universes. So I was surprised by having Superpatriot get name dropped in the final issue. It would be like having Supreme get name dropped in Invincible. They're both Image but different universes

So Multi-Muitox survives, finds a birthing chamber, and the threat is reborn with Old Man Prophet waking up to presumably stop it a few hundred years later. Then Earth is ravaged by space pirates.

There (was) newfather john who died stopping the hypergrown trust core

There's the john that was freed by fungi spores

There's Red Exmere who I have no idea what she does or how she is free from the hivemind

There's Arc Lord Muiton-Multox who just turned himself into a core monster in this thread

There's the earth empire somewhere out of in space where the main fleet, arc mothers and arc fathers reside.

Then there's different arcs in earth warring to retake the planet, including separate territories of johns and arc mothers

There is a very real issue that as science and technology advances to a certain level humans won't be able to learn all they need to be able to create or advance science anymore in a single human lifetime. Unless humans find a way to download knowledge to a human brain or drastically prolong the human lifespan we will eventually need A.I. and similar systems to continue creating things.

It's like the Hyperion sci-fi series. Man creates insanely advanced tech, uses said advanced tech to create insanely advanced A.I., said A.I. creates tech so advanced that humans can't even understand how it works and compares it to magic, A.I. use said tech to create an A.I. that actually transcends reality and becomes a god capable of reaching back into the past to insure its own creation.
