Two things really. One they have been trying to give her more character than being BB's voice and Crystal's sister. However she didn't do much but give orders while other characters handled the plot elements. She played little part in any of plot lines. Second she goes a bit too evil. The Inhumans have always jumped around on morality but from realm of kings and beyond Medusa have become practically a villain.

She doesn't need fixed so much as not being the main character at the expense of most of the other royals. She works when part of an ensemble, but the inhumans under Soule has been "Medusa and her pet OCs." Black Bolt and Crystal written out, Karnak dead for half of it and Gorgon written out in the same issue that Karnak comes back.

Triton had the right idea. He stuck through it and just kept his mouth shut in the background then bailed to team up with Maximus after getting sick of it.
