DCO was pretty fun to start off with but like all MMOs that aren't WoW, it just didn't have enough end game content and the progression was fucked.

MH is actually still doing alright if you're into those type of diablo-type games. It's basically just Warframe in that it's "Farming: The Game" and there is nothing else to do. But hey, that's what some people enjoy.

Games as a service is an unsustainable notion that ultimately results in a product that gradually withers in terms of satisfaction and positive sentiment because it's impossible to keep a game fresh simply by making tweaks to it through time

I'm not saying every game needs yearly sequels but if you don't throw out the old shit and replace it every now and then things start to stink

Hypercrisis applies to the whole medium, not just DC. Most discussion about it just revolves around DC because that's where the bulk of Morrison's work is and the concept is derived from his work.
