It's the most appropriate ending.

I liked it though a lot of episodes felt unnecesary.
I hope they make a new series eventually that happens after HTTYD2 i would like to see Hiccups struggles at getting acustomed to being the chief.

This is so dumb, and I'm willing to bet they will go full Kamen Rider and have contrived reasons to get them back for the next movie that they have to make to cash in some bux.
