Peabody, debuting in 2015, would've become an instant laughing stock of the industry in the vain of PPG 2016 due to its art style. The only major saving grace of the show, in my beliefs, besides the soundtrack is the beautiful art style. That being replaced by an art style that was derided already in the 90s as crappy would just create a recipie for disaster.

Meanwhile, South Park would probably take a much shorter time to be accepted by many as more than just crass, lowbrow comedy. In fact, the dynamic, expressive art style would've probably been seen as the best part of the show. Later on, as the show became smarter and more satirical, the show would've been called the show "as gorgeous as it's witty". Don't know what South Park characters would look like in the Peabody style but they would probably look close to pic related.

Both would become much worse from the swap. Most of AT's characters would look too detailed and complex for their own good while Voltron's action scenes would lose much of their tension from an art style abysmally suited for major action.
