Ruins of the Fourth Wall - despite it being centered around an author avatar I found it geniunely enjoyable because of the characters... even though alot of it is wish-fulfillment. The story took a dump on itself when it included characters from monkey island.

That's My Sonic is another one. Thought it was hilarious with Sonic and friends doing stupid shit. However, it was just that. Stupid shit.

Chaos Diamonds 3 - story falls apart after the execution scene and the appearance of pic related.

If he put in more effort I'd be inclined to agree with you. I WOULD have to respect his work ethic if he bothered to plan out panel composition, work out his pacing, spend time on his dialogue, work on his character designs, experiment with perspective and focus, or try to draw anything remotely difficult ever.

But he doesn't, so I respect him as much as Jim Davis. Which is to say "Why should I respect this guy? He does the bare minimum on a schedule because it gives him attention and money."

Sam and Fuzzy. Still going, still good. Making trades and hardcover collected editions and the story is still actually pretty good. Full of fanservice for longtime readers and throwbacks that make it feel like a legitimate universe.

I'm not surprised that it's good, but I am surprised at how few webcomics out of the trillions we had are actually good. I mean how many good webcomics can you name, like five?

I used to be into it enough to post diligently on the forums, and for a while was going full turbo autist. I eventually took a break because of the ridiculously slow updates so that I could come back to a lot of new content. I never came back once I realized there was little of value aside from the softcore porn.

Tom's a cool guy though and it was great watching his art improve over the years. I'm glad he's doing well
