Bane has been able to kick Venom one fucking time and stay off it in his entire continuity. It's an addiction. Have you ever interacted with real addicts?

The repetition here is more like Sheriff of Babylon than I Am Suicide. There's a clear, natural flow that actually makes sense as something someone would say.

"No?" questioning Batman's refusal, "No?!" showing Bane's anger at Batman's choice while he attacks. Same concept for "Do you know who I am?!" The second time shows Banes escalating rage and it makes sense as something to repeat with added emphasis.

Compare that to the "save someone who needs to be saved..." line from that one I Am Suicide issue. Way too long and clunky to read naturally in repetition, and didn't fit the context because Batman wasn't even talking to Bane most of the times he said it. Just there to force a "now we break his damn back" final line.

And showing Batman and Bane as kids is a way better parallel than the Bat/Cat stuff because the dialogue fits what's happening and doesn't play off itself like the Bendis style "you were running", "I was running" or whatever the hell they said. And it doesn't casually add a needlessly controversial element to Batman's history like the letters did.

This is a well written preview and an improvement on the I Am Suicide arc. Rooftops was also pretty good honestly.

Who cares, after that tweet I know he is just going to use the entire arc to showcase how bad Batman is because is not Dick Grayson.
This isn't how you should proceed to write stories, you should put your fanboyism aside.

King clearly doesn't have a grasp on Batman's voice. Batman has a very consistent speech pattern with people. Whether he uses full names, nicknames, last names or first names is important. Selina may be her actual name but it meant a lot that that's how Bruce addressed her yet still fit into the formality of how he speaks to others as Batman.
