What's up with the artstyle?

I may not be fond of this pseudo anime art style, but the colors are undeniably gorgeous and a huge improvement over what we've been getting. I really want this to do well. Thanks OP

WOW what the fuck is up with the first page

The overlapping looks fine, you're over exaggerating.

He's looking a different direction because he's not actually paying attention to the eiffel tower, he's changing the subject haphazardly

And the weird mime cut out is justhe a visual joke about the dude being french..

This is the best that hellblazer rebirth has looked so far in all honesty (not sayingood much)
