Yeah I have to agree, John as a character isnt really fleshed out, now hes pushed to a leadership role because Muh Marines and hes demanding respect like he's their actual superior, and why do they need a corps leader? Ganthet and Sayd are back, only reason they needed one because the templar Guardians said they were inexperienced to lead yet. Guy just dominates every page he's in while Hal shows why he's considered the Best.

Well for me he started getting good during Renegade Hal arc, hope we see Virgo,Trapper and Darlene at some time that being said Vendetti's run is kinda fun but its not great, like during battle of warworld he wrote Hal as suicidal, I mean Hal chose to kill himself just to take down Sinestro and Warworld but Hals Character for the last decade has been that he's willing to see pass Sinestro's fault, Bottled Arc was also kinda boring. I guess Vendetti really shines when he's writing about Hal, Guy and Soranik, he really knows how to write Guy and he's fleshing Soranik's character more, he makes an awful John tho but then John is an nonredeemable character, even in this issue all he does is bitch and moan.
