Don't know. But I'm guessing no? It's just been picked up and they're still trying to figure out what to do with Infinity Train. From what I've seen this short offers and easier transition from pilot to ongoing series while IT seems like it could be either a mini or an ongoing. But it's not a zero sum game here.

If you took the premise of the pilot and stretched it out into a full series I think it would be better. A full season of two brothers stuck in a Mexican version of the movie Labyrinth seems more interesting than Mexican Gravity Falls.

Well we know a number of CN employees hang around here. And at least one has mentioned that CN has several pilots in active development and one they've greenlit but won't yet announce. And we know that some crewmembers from shows that have wrapped are still at CN and they haven't mentioned pitching but they're definitely not doing nothing. OP might be talking out of their ass but there's gotta be some movement on the ground for something we haven't heard about yet.
