Well for one, BTAS was an adaptation of existing comics (with some new stories and characters), while Beyond brought a whole new setting and cast of characters to the Batman mythos.

Its not easy bringing something new to a decades old property that actually lands.

In context of its time, it was one of the best cartoons to be released and had excellent character and plot development and was quite dark and pushed the limits of what was acceptable to show on a children's cartoon
