They could have explored it better than just making the comedy like any other show in the air in that era, just the first three episodes are good

I unironically liked this show as a kid even though I felt like I should have hated it. I'm not so sure how well it still holds up, I should rewatch some.

I never thought the show was funny and hated it when I was younger. I liked the retro anime references but thats about it. As a kid I thought it fell into "Let's copy anime from last decade since anime is popular now"
