Welcome back, Invincipals!
Sorry for being missing for so long, real life got in the way and such.
Last time... we found out Eve got an abortion while Mark was fighting in space, Las Vegas went boom, and Mark is now working with the man (dinosaur?) responsible to make the world a better place. Let's see how it all goes horribly wrong.

I'll also be bringing back the Prophet storytime starting tomorrow.
>>90082171
>Murderanon is back
HOLY SHIT!!!!
>>90082370
I've been back for like 4 weeks, man.
>>90082171
Shit thought I'd never see your invincible threads again
>>90082578
Well, you thought wrong, my friend.
>>90082410
>Oliver is gone now
>And he died like a little bitch
FUCK YOU KIRKMAN
>>90082652
I see spoilerfag is here now too. Fuck.
>>90082462
You guys think Allen was cut out for this job or do you think someone else couldve done it better?
>>90082689
OH shit i'm sorry didn't mean to do it
>>90082703
I honestly think he's fucking up big time, but that's mostly because of Kirkman's penchant for everything going wrong.
>>90082689
Jesus how good Vultrimites at sex?
>>90082715
Oh, sorry for snapping at you then, it's just that there was this really annoying anon in the old threads that would spoil shit all the time (100% sure he did it on purpose).
>>90082740
I think he'd be good at it during peaceful times but with Thragg fucking everything up he's getting extremely desperate
>>90082805
Yeah, agreed.
I remember when this arc came out nobody minded Cory's art. I wonder what changed now? It's not that different.
>>90082883
Honestly it was probably the colorist that can make or break a comic book
>>90082652
>And he died like a little bitch
He died as he lived
>>90082928
He wasn't a bitch just an ass who thought he as smarter than everyone else
>>90082920
I can see that. One weird thing about Cory's new Invincible arc is that he left the blood to the colorist, which was a really odd choice.
I will pretend i didn't read the talescrian arc so i just enjoy the ride.
Thank you for the storytime, Murderanon!
>>90083218
Just doing my bit.
>>90083363
To be honest, i can't see Thragg marrying a Earth woman and settle down as well.
I can see Thragg picking up a singer career and being idolized as reincarnation of Freddy, if he puts up in the stage act as much heart as in fighting.
>>90083521
Now that would be one hell of an ending.
>>90083023
If Allens this strong why doesn't he just go after Thragg himself get the vultrimites team and beat the ducker to death
>>90083585
Thragg vs. Battle Beast...
HERE WE ARE automatically starts playing in your head.
>>90083817
Didn't see that coming, as i only concentrated on Marc during last panel.
He...just chomped his head off? Didn't even break a tooth?
I'm asking here because its the most upped storytime thread, and experience would help :
I was motivated by the cyberpunk/ old city blues threads to do some storytiming of my own —ranxerox I woud like— but it includes a lot of gore, nudity, and even what may come off as cp. Should I storytime it on another board and just bump a thread to advertise it or would it be ok with spoilers ?
Oh right, that hasn't happened yet.
Oh boy Mark you colossal fucking idiot
>>90083890
I've never storytimed anything risque other than Saga, so I don't know what to tell you. Spoilering is usually fine from what I've seen.
>>90083890
Probably safest to do over on /aco/, sadly.
I've seen Uber threads get pruned for nudity, gore is usually okay though I guess I've seen Crossed threads get ax'ed, too.
>>90083890
>ranxerox
Still mad that the Dark Horse collection got canceled
>>90083708
I think the reasons Marks so strong is Earth training by fighting doomsday level threats every month surpasses 95% of the shit Vultrimites dealt with on a daily basis
>>90083998
Hey, Eve, you did lose some weight.
>>90083998
God I hate this bitch. She cucks him every chance she gets and he just keeps coming back.
>>90084374
good shit
>>90084374
Welp.
Oh hey Oliver, they'd killed you in your sleep later. That bloodline would have to die totally.
>>90083955
>>90083961
all right thank you, I'll get a quick look at the thing and see if it's as bad as I remember it
>>90083991
shit I didn't even think about finding a decent english version. why don't you all comics readers learn french dammit
>>90084374
Looks Space Freddie mercury is back
>>90084247
Marc may reconsider his cooperation with Dinosaurus, because Allen's plan is likewise extreme, he just takes it one step further.
Sacrifice human lives for sake of humanity? No problem. Sacrificing humankind for sake of the universe? Not so eager now, huh?
>>90084610
I can already see, who will break this truce.
"It's all for the good of universe, blah, blah, we're so white and fluffy and they are the baddies who COULD kill us all..."
>>90084751
Well shit... Hope Thragg isn't going off...
>>90084815
FFS Oliver
>>90082171
Shouldn't those Stalin face caterpillars be as taboo as the Hitler-stache?
>>90084916
Not going to start a political discussion, but Hitler invaded first, so Uncle Joe is fine in most books.
Even if he starved millions of people in Gulags.
>>90084916
People don't give a shit about Stalin, hell most think he was responsible for less deaths than Hitler. Sad but true.
>>90085016
Freddy looking like he wants to murder Bulletproof right there.
>>90084907
MurderBump
>>90085016
Well, Joseph wasn't exactly planning a expansion war. That was Leo who wanted communism everywhere, that's why he was pickaxed in the end.
Speaking of dubious leaders, which does Thragg reminds you most of? He struck me recently as quite reasonable and wise leader, even if he is a killing machine.
>>90085107
Thanks
>>90085124
I don't know, we haven't really seen him rule much, have we? He's certainly willing to compromise for the benefit of his people, I'll give him that.
>>90085124
So far he's only been MUH REVENGE and preventing the empire from collapsing. I actually don't know if he's on board with the whole conquer the universe thing.
Pretty sure hes forever stuck in MUH REVENGE mode though.
>>90085124
Honestly he really isn't that wise he's a battle harden super warrior and the only time he put his pride second was when there was like 20 Vultrimites left
Kirkman was either ahead of his time or way too soon with this.
And yes, I know minority replacements were a thing long before Marvel overused the trope.
>>90085243
It's weird he really isn't a replacement he's barely on panel he gets a couple pages per issue than has a fall from grace wit Robot and is never heard from again
>>90085243
here comes the nigger ray
>>90085235
At least he knows when to backpedal a bit.
>>90085286
Yeah, I don't get what the point of him was, he even gets his own issue right before The Death of Everyone and then what happens there is almost never referenced again.
>>90085561
I always like reading super dangerous fucking slaughtermasters talking things out and being reasonable to some degree.
>>90085432
Maybes that's the joke, him replacing invincible has next to no affect on anything long term and barley has a presence In comic itself
>>90085743
Yeah, that makes sense.
>>90085561
Aw Cecil does care
>>90086040
Yeah, color me fooled, Bulletproof. Also, quit trying to get Eve in the sack.
And bump.
>>90086076
>genious
>using pipette instead of autosampler.
Alright, last issue for today
>>90086830
Doesn't he have a girlfriend whys he trying to fuck fat-eve
>>90086867
He's a playa.
>>90087078
this reminds me of king kong vs v. rex
>>90082966
A lot of people are pissed for the revelation about Allen in the last issue... honestly if anything I'm surprised more people didn't see it coming.
And that's all for Murderman for now. See you next time!
>>90087268
Thanks for the storytime, Murderanon
>>90087268
thanks as always murderanon
>>90087268
Thanks, Murderanon
>>90082652
Dude I'm all caught up on the book but still you can't spoil something that big when there will be people reading this for the first time.
>>90087078
nice contrast to >>90083817
>>90082171
FUCK YES
I LOVE YOU
>>90088342
You wouldn't know it was a big deal with the way Kirkman offhandedly did it.
>>90082171
YESSSSS FINALLY. You've been dearly missed muderanon
>>90084374
ooooooiooh shit
>>90085939
>>90085961
ohfuckohfuckofuckohfuckohfuck
>>90086830
What an asshole.
>>90082297
Freddy! Is this some older issue? Last time this was posted, Marky was fighting some purple kids and got ripped half.
Cheers.
>>90097939
This is an older issue.
>>90098168
Thanks for wasting precious captchas for me.
Have a nice day!
>>90084215
>>90084074
Is this before or after hot Anissa action?
Because if it's yet to happen, Marky could dodge a big bullet here...
>>90085141
What a fucking poor attempt at planetary genocide!
One could get really suspicious about the real plan here.
>>90085302
Looks like a pretty dank job to have.
>>90085939
what was he a match to?
>>90087235
>>90087268
I'd say that these issues are the best of the whole series, art wise at least. I mean I'm glad Ryan is back for the finale, but I was kind of disappointed by his artwork in the last issue, especially when compared to these pages.
Idk maybe it's the different colorist, but the linework seemed very rushed and not as refined as it was around this time.
Anyone agree?
>>90085715
You do a good enough job a few times, you facetious red haberdasher
>>90082372
God I hate Telia, so much.
The fact that she and her brother fucking talk down to other species anytime this subject even remotely comes up is so frustrating.
>>90099096
i think he discovered that he was the descendent of the old viltrumite king, or the his dad was >>90086863
>>90085898
Le Brusier is watching you, Freddy.
>>90098765
Well before.
>>90102163
>Le
Back to plebbit
>>90099096
He is a direct descendent to thier most respected leader. Nolan was the lost son and Mark is now the rightful heir or "True King" of the Viltrumites. "Freddy" was his (the initial King's) loyal assistant until he saw perceived weakness in him and wanted a different more violent bloodier and stronger path for Viltrumites. It does show they don't agree but take "Freddy" at his word, mainly through fear.
>>90103520
They other Viltrumites who follow "Freddy" is what I meant, lol
>>90082171
I'm not even sure I want to keep reading now. It was like having someone close to you pass away and after I went through the five stages of grief, I'd already accepted that there would be no more storytimes. Would this be how people react to resurrections in real life, I wonder?
>>90105396
Ouch. Guess I got that one coming.
>>90085829
>i'm a genius. i can help
>that panel
>>90085673
>you look too much like a ragnar
damn, i don't know if this is called foreshadowing or what, but it is surprising how far back this story got written.
also, this fucking art is goddamn gorgeous. i forgot how much i loved this book.
ottley, rathburn and rauch are a godly team.
>>90085243
>in a bold new direction
>>90085996
>you did a good job, but they claim they 'paid for invincible'
i gotta say, i never saw this coming, although it makes sense in a parody book.
for the most part, he feels excellently written too. he never feels like a side character or a color wipe, and instead feels like his own unique thing.
... and then he jumps the shark... with the benefit of hindsight, lets see if that's quite as bad as i remember.
on that note, i hope something terrible happens to bulletproof. or the opposite, to make a statement on randomness, but i hope he isnt ignored. if you're a new reader, you'll find out why soon enough...
