Keep the chrome armor, make the under layer contrast with a black or dark blue

Lengthen boots and gloves, give them the same style of yellow rim for a consistent element
Experiment with alternative not-capes instead of the straps. Loincloth? Scarf?

Okay, I finally figured out how to fix this. The costume needs to look more believable, because right now it's totally unrealistic.

He has no pockets. Where would he put his stuff? Immersion ruined. This motherfucker needs pouches, BAM, now it's REAL. I think 12-18 pouches would be ideal. He could keep all kinds of stuff in it. weapons. Swords. Guns.

Also, who the hell stands like that, just out in open with your feet showing? Make him stand behind something like a normal person, that would look more natural.

I have a weird hate/love thing with Liefeld. I hate him because... fucking damn, dude, you've been in comics for so many years learn to fucking draw better you faggot, plus he is a dick sometimes. But I love him because I see him as something that every dumbass out there who wants to get mad green through luck, unrelenting self confidence to the point of being full of yourself and a couple of cool ideas should aspire towards. Rob Liefeld is the person we all could be if it were still the 90s and if we had motivation. And of course, believed in ourselves, even when no one else probably did.

Liefield's X-Force was cool. His art in that was pretty cool. If you dislike Liefield you should find McFarlane art equally bad yet nobody hates on McFarlane.

Liefield's art was genuinely shitty during Heroes Reborn but his New Mutants and X-Force stuff was awesome. He was pretty good at drawing hot girls in it.

He does have some cool ideas and has some talent (I mean, fuck, you couldn't just give any normie a pen and get him to draw as good as Liefeld, could you?) and there are some different things he can draw well but he just makes fucking anatomical mistakes a lot. With McFarlane you can see that the guy does stuff out of stylistic choice and he makes that style work for himself really well, it's a lot more cartoonish than a lot of people but he just makes it look actually good and Liefeld could be the same if he didn't fuck up so much and make eyes uneven and legs way too fucking long and draw stuff that's just completely anatomically impossible.

Like if they moved that chest thing up, and made it look more like a plague doctor mask, and changed the feather based cloak to make it look more like grim reaper cloak and hood, it would be a pretty cool look.
