The third act was worthless. Apocalypse was lame. Mystique was there because JLaw but there was no reason for it. Psylocke, Storm, and Angel were nonentities.

They even had the perfect scene set up for it -- when Magneto was talking about how he had no more family, I was so certain that Quicksilver was going to call his "dad." But nope. Also, Quicksilver is cute. When will he get a solo film where he romances a guy?

I didn't think the movie sucked, they used Peter well, which his a good sign for the future. I'm not sure about Alex being killed, I actually liked the actor and thought he was good in First Class and for what little he was used in DOFP. It's not like he asked for more money or is busy doing something else and I think they are better off continuing with some of the younger actors than trying to sign JLaw to another film.

The movie just didn't do much. The ending to DOFP once Magneto started the stadium stuff just was all downhill and this one started that trend by the time they got to Magneto destroying the prison camp. They should have gone to something else and waited to work on the script and adaptation for this later on.

It makes sense as a bone to the comics about Weapon X, and connects to the first trilogy in a sense without connecting to the shitty aspects of it. We don't really need another Logan infested X movie. He can do a buddy team-up in 5-7 years with an aging Cable and Deadpool and even that might not be enough time passing.

Also there wasn't any real BIG casualties in the film anyways other than groups of harmless figures and one of the "four horsemen". I felt there was no real threat other than Apocalypse in the beginning of the film. It was like watching a massacre.

I was really disappointing at how once Xavier got inside Apocalypse's mind he just punches him. They couldn't come up with anything more interesting or creative, maybe create a labyrinth or 4 dimensional puzzle to trap him mentally, maybe create some vision to confuse him or just anything, something imaginative, but no just punch him.

This movie was a fucking mess honestly, which was disappointing after Days of Future Past, which I thought was good

Magento's arc makes no fucking sense in this movie, a lot of the acting is hilarious, the person who plays Jean is a pretty bad offender. I could go on for a while but fuck I'm tired.
