It's definitely an odd choice but I like that they took a chance on something weird. My main problem with it is how plain he looks. Unlike everyone else he needs more stuff added to him. Some actually clopthes, a good hat, etc. Some good gear would certainly go a long way with him. Hopefully he has some decent options beyond these two sets. The gas mask look is cool but he just looks like some random enemy in STALKER or something.

Eh some of the elements are there. The sack hood mask, the ropes/noose, a sickle, and crow feathers sticking out of him weirdly enough. Only problem is the base look has almost no clothes on when Scarecrow is usually fully dressed in brown clothes and a hat. Hopefully the point of that is to give you somewhere to jump off from gear wise and he'll end up completely covered in some of the sets.

Oh come on, a single, ancillary character that's obnoxious and meta isn't going to ruin anything. I've always dug him, it would be a fun little bonus to add into the game. Plus, for everyone else, that means that you could pick whoever you want to beat the crap out of Ambush Bug.
I was thrilled they gave him an appearance in Convergence, and it worked out that he was pretty much the only one under Brainiac's domes whose powers weren't dampened by the tech. I know that doesn't do much to convince anyone that he's any good, but I geeked out a little when I read it.

Batman = Batman Beyond (the dialogue of a guy from the future would be great)

Wonder Woman = Grail (I find her more interesting than like the Wonder Girls or Artemis or whoever)

Aquaman = Orm (pretty much the same character)

Dr. Fate = The Spectre (recolor the magic)

Green Arrow = Arsenal (just for them Young Justice fans)

Black Canary = Batwoman (have dialogue about developing a Bat sonar screech tech)

Robin = Katana (he's already smaller than other characters, I think his frame above all others can support a sex change costume)

Swamp Thing = Clayface (his size expansion and clones support Clayface, and his plant growths can all be clay constructs)

Joker = Riddler (add his ? motif over all the attacks)

Brainiac = Lex Luthor (skin from green to white)

Poison Ivy = Killer Frost (put an ice effect on all the plants)

Deadshot = Deathstroke (all thats missing is the sword)

Gorilla Grodd = Ultra Humanite (although I think his brain head should just be gear)

The noose was a great addition in his Batman TAS design. He looked nothing like an actual scarecrow but he had a great gravedigger/executioner aesthetic that made him more distinct and memorable. The noose was fitting.
Putting the noose on a muscular and generic monster with a scarecrow mask is tacked on and pointless. It just doesn't fit.
I'm all for different reinterprations of The Scarecrow but I am not fond of those costumes at all.

It was never supposed to be a grey conflict. Injustice is not a deep story. Superman is the bad guy, he and his team are in the wrong 100%. The comic went in to some grey areas here and there but considering the basis for it all was the game where Superman is an irredeemable psychopathic dictator there was never supposed to be any question that Superman was a villain in this. The only moral quandaries arose from Batman's methodology when it came to his various attempts to take down the Regime and clearly the second game is touching on that a bit more with this whole Brother Eye aspect. I'm just glad Disney at least isn't making games solely in-house anymore. MvC:I might be very MCU based, but it's better than mobile games 24/7. The fact that Marvel fans had to subsist on Avengers Alliance and other app-tier stuff for years is ridiculous. But at least we got Lego Marvel Super Heroes. That was actually a great game, and a love letter to Marvel in general. Better than the Lego Batman games imo. I like that even though it's just a fighter the Injustice games feel very well-thought out and intentional with all the little Easter Egg touches in the stages and whatnot.
