Some of us actually like the show and its characters, and it's painfully obvious that this particular ship is vastly out-of-character and ignorant of its source material. It's your typical jock/nerd fetish, and it reduces the characters to shallow cliches.

People ship characters all the time, which itself isn't exactly bad. Some are reasonable, others are absurd (like this one). And what bothers me is when I see so much effort being put into to something so absurd, ignoring everything that made the show what it was.
