Cuz for a while there, I wondered if maybe I had just outgrown it cuz the humor wasn't working for me anymore, but then I thought the TV Show Show/Forever era had the highest grade curve since season 2, so I think ti just is legit great humor.

The fact that we still have quotes threads that go on for days is testament to that - the pacing and delivery of the lines is always gold, even in mediocre episodes.

It took me a while too. I remember I had a friend who loved it when I was in middle school around 2005 and I thought it was kinda funny but didn't really find it arresting enough to "pick up" and watch on purpose. I would just kinda tune in if it happened to be on. Then a couple years ago it kinda just clicked, and now I wish I'd paid more attention when it was airing, cause I remember it being on all the fucking time. It seriously might be the funniest animated shows I've ever seen in my life.

I don't get ATHF. Even the episodes with the worst premises come out really good, there's very little about it that comes of as just plain bad. The writing and humor is consistently great without ever pandering to a certain subculture or political group. Even the episode about the religious fruits or the one where Shake turns black manages to be written incredibly well despite seemingly going for the low hanging fruits.
