This type of show just doesn't have a place in our era.

People shitting on music videos or reality TV is nothing new with the advent of reviewers on youtube and the like. Sure, B&B had their own brand of humor and commentary but no one who wasn't already a fan was gonna be hooked on it, and what percent of the original fandom was left just wasn't enough to keep it afloat.

Sad, but not surprising in the least.

KLK doesn't seem as shocking because it's intended for an older audience and exclusively plays on a late night block. Older PPG was intended for kids and still had things like children engaging in hilariously demoralizing violence and explicit sexual innuendos, all with great wit. The two shows have some similar elements, but what they are is so different it's not even worth comparing.

The current MTV crowd doesn't want to watch a show of 2 white guys making fun of their precious music.

There were sequences of Beavis and Butthead of all people, ripping on Jersey Shore, Teen Mom and True Life, and it was really hilarious to hear two borderline retarded guys genuinely ripping on the piece of shit personalities from these shows
