Since he wouldn't be there, he wouldn't uncover the incest conspiracy, so his best friend wouldn't have been boar-gored. With drunken Rob still in charge, most of the kingdom wouldn't have been murdering each other while the ice zombies were amassing. If Tyrion hadn't killed his mom at birth Jaime would've been married to Elia Martell and Cersei to Oberynn. Avoiding shitloads of later squabbles and leading to a more mellow Tywin.
If Howland Reed hadn't traipsed his frog-eating arse down to the trident Rhaegar wouldn't have noticed Lyanna when she defended Howland's honour under the guise of The Knight of The Laughing Tree.
