What was the point?
>>89958894
Outedge Morrison or some shit.
This whole story was dumb when it all was finished. Nothing really happened.
>>89958894
The point was the classic "We're gonna pull the trigger this time!" tactic on so many tension points in the Batman mythos, but have it amount to virtually nothing.
>>89958894
clickbait

It was just a prank bro

Retarded story. I know what he was thinking when he wrote all that:
>Don't you see?!? Death *in* the family is bad, but death *OF* the family will take it to the next level!
But making it a metaphorical death of their collective state of family where none of them really die is weak as fuck. And having the whole Joker getting his face removed and then worn as a mask was never going to go anywhere.

>metaphorical death of their collective state of family
At least this had tons of impact on future stories...

NOTE: many points may identified

>NOTE: many points may identified
may NOT be
The whole idea seemed to be to get the Batman Family to break up & stop talking to Batman & secretly hate them, because he might have to take a deal or compromise when dealing with the Joker. The problems with this are:
1. It didn't really do anything & the Batman Family just kinda got over it eventually
2. OF COURSE you have to compromise when the Joker has a hostage! Half the times they beat the Joker it's by talking him down, the other half by disarming his plan & then just punching him until he runs away like the spindly Johnny he is.

Lmao! Remember how the very next comic they were all chill again?
>>89964175
I opened your picture with no context wathsoever and spent at a minute trying to figure what you were trying to get across, Iam not a smart man.
Joker wanted to convince Batman that his Batfamily was holding him down. Are you seriously too dumb to properly interpret a fucking Snyder Batman comic?
>>89965318
I don't see how cutting off their faces makes that point
>>89965339
That part he did for the lulz
>>89966891
But then he really didn't! Ha, classic Synder truly he is the greatest bat writer of all time

The fact that this never became a thing pissed me off more. We could've had something interesting and long lasting come out of this comic, but nope

You know what's funnier than nothing? Something.

You can't have an ugly hero. Only villains can be ugly.

>You can't have an ugly hero.
Explain Captain Marvel then

Except for that time where it was literally the point that he's a misunderstood monster

I remember when someone storytimed that for the first time
Anger was real

I remember stressing my anger on another board and people responded with "Just because nobody died doesn't mean it didn't matter"
