they made asshole characters in a 2000s cartoon actually likable.

If I ever had the chance to go back in time and choose a cartoon show at random to grant more than one season to, it'd be this one, no fucking contest.

Man it's been years since I've watched this. Remember some good jokes in it. The one with the squirrel megaphone always makes me laugh.

this was a millennial cartoon done right.
>>
>>89954359
Despite having an ugly art style, it was pretty charming and quite funny sometimes. I have fond memories of watching it when it aired, but wasn't devastated when it got cancelled.
So I guess it was just alright.

was honestly pretty funny from what I remember

I met the creator's wife in second life and we became fast friends after I modeled her a replica Lula when I was still learning how to 3D model. She's a lovely lady and Candie is actually named after her.

I even got an autographed Weekenders hat out if the deal, I'd take a photo but I'm at college and didn't take it with me.

Not really anything else to add but it's funny just how truly small this world we live in is.

fuck Jack and his sandal wearin' shit, this is the true story that needs a comeback.

One of the best cartoons Disney released in the early 2000s. Too sad they missed its potential.
>>
I remember watching this show a lot, but for some reason I had forgotten that the main characters were siblings.
>>
great show

was something in the water in 2000s around Disney studios: they also had absoultely fantastic Weekenders, Fillmore
>>
>>89957067
>>89957067
The art style really didn't matter. This show was good purely based on the clever writing it had. Closest any modern cartoon got to George of the Jungle.
>>
>>89954359
it was pretty fucking stupid, and really ugly.. but hot damn it was funny. kinda like ren and stimpy

I cant find my favorite scene where hes dating that evil sorcerer girl and the narrator says something along the lines of " so she employed her most dastardly ability, she pointed at Dave, giggled then whispered to her friends and they all laughed."
>>
>>89963309
The episode is Web. Greatest commentary on national debt in a cartoon ever

>and so our heroes defeat the muffin in an exciting battle, which we can't show you because it would be much too expensive for a cheap show like this. Thereafter, the monster's muffin top provides bouncy fun for all the children. Except little Billy Menken, who isn't allowed on it because he's been bad

The narrator is a godsend
