The poor pacing is killing this book, I've only read up to #4 but fuck all has happened.

Oeming's art is also awful. His cartooning is really inconsistent and often lazy, and his storytelling really suffers at times, making certain actions indecipherable or understated. Also his splashes and spreads are a waste of space

Doom Patrol and Shade are weird but also able to be picked up easily

Mother Panic is alright but kind of a generic premise, but really good art
