This is so, so boring. It's incredibly boring. The dialogue is sticking to this theme of being stilted, repetitive and unnatural, the pacing and paneling are absolutely vanilla/by the book and the whole idea of Batman letting Alfred break into Arkham to let the Psycho Pirate do four days of therapy with new OC while Bane just wrecks Gotham is frankly, fucking stupid.

All Star is the typical Snyder fare, where he literally shoves the "deep" themes he's going for into the reader's face by having the villain monologue to Batman or someone else monologue about the villain's intentions. Read the last two issues of All Star with Two Face again and you will see exactly what I mean. It is fucking tiring and it is in every comic Snyder writes.
He's basically a formula writer and he admits it in interviews. He tries to find something that "makes a villain scary" (paraphrasing) and then harps on that the whole time like it's an amazing gimmick he's thought up with no real meaningful payoff. Ever. See Death of the family specifically.
