Comics Beat boasted that they had all of the solicitations for DC’s Young Animals imprint for May 2017, given to them by DC’s PR marketing department, while we Frankensteined them with all the other similarly-released solicits.

Well, it appears that wasn’t true, the likes of John Cunningham had reserved a special one for a different media partner of DC Comics, the AV Club.

Which is where the launch of a new DC Young Animal title by Lee Allred, Mike Allred and Laura Allred was found – Bug!: The Adventures Of Forager based on the New Gods character by Jack Kirby. With Kirby’s other characters Sandman, Blue Beetle, and Atlas all confirmed to make appearances as Forager tries to stop an evil uprising led by General Electric.

The first issue of Bug!: The Adventures Of Forager appears on May 10th.

Yes. A new one just came out, with Vin Diesel back as XXX after getting subbed out for Ice Cube in the second one.

Random comment- I haven't read that much Wildstorm, but it strikes me that supervillains seem to have neglible at best presence for the most part.

Like there's Helspont, and that's it for WS villains I can actually name. The whole Black Ops Superhero Universe I guess doesn't leave much room for recurring villains.

Combination of the Marvel movies, Arkham games and Injustice have brought /v/ users in droves. As much as people complain about /pol/, and Tumblr and whatever else, anyone who's spent time on /v/ can very easily spot that annoying shitty attitude that they've brought over here.

Costume design can be a bit of a bastard, honestly. There's a fine line between over the top cool, and just plain stupid looking. Especially since they way a character dresses is often used as a visual cue as to who they are as a person.

That mess of an outfit makes Angela look like a Warcraft otaku.

Absolutely, and every time there's a redesign thread you see some dogshit paraded around as innovative, etc. And that's working off an established template, making something new is even harder. >>
>>89932664
To hell with this.

To everyone in existence too stupid to realize this

There is nothing morally ambiguous about rape. There is not possible reason to do it outside of one's own sick jollies. Killing someone can be done out of self defense, defense of others, or to prevent a disaster of some kind. There is no scenario in which rape is morally acceptable. That is the reason it is considered worse than other crimes, because it cannot be justified.

Sincerely, sane people.

PS, If you can think up a scenario in which the only way to prevent a tragedy is to rape someone, I date you to write a story about it, because in all fairness, that would be fascinating, and very challenging material.

One of the reasons Doctor Who got cancelled in the 1980s involved a bad case of fans running things. Google "Ian Levine" if you want some cancerous details, but suffice to say that airing episodes that are nearly incomprehensible without a good knowledge of the show's history isn't a great idea for a popular series - especially in an era that predates home video.

For a good example of what 1980s Doctor Who fandom thought was a good idea, here's the video that got produced when the show got put on an 18 month hiatus in 1986: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NnTSbFeWwro

I personally find the old fandom shittiness more interesting than the newer, more American-based crowd that discovered the show during an specific American marketing push in 2011 and then decided they vastly preferred the episodes that aired before they started watching.

I still enjoy Doctor Who, but I've pretty much disconnected from the fandom these days betwen the old wankery, the new wankery, and the lack of perspective shown by basically everybody.
