When people talk about comic books that can be considered art, comics that you can give to literature teacher from college and having her actually enjoy it, they mention Swamp Thing a lot.

Basically this is the kind of character that people that love great stories truly enjoy.

Even his latest run was cancelled when the writter ended his last arc, not because of sales but because they wanted to wait until they were able to find another writter able to tell a story even better than the last one.

Swamp Thing is respect and love for art.
