I think Kiazuki was on to something when she said that Hanazuki has to absolutely hand her over the treasure and to not under any circumstance touch it.

In the first episode and the fifth episode the treasure reacts to Hana's emotions even while it's far away from her, so maybe the treasures are linked to the moonflower the moment they touch.

I think I figured out why there wasn't new Hanazuki this weekend. The press release on Business Wire says it's being released throughout the year timed to full moons. It must not mean each full moon. Don't know when the next episodes are now.
