Absolute jerk and can be extermly ruthless, but can also be really compassionate like we saw him with Sasha, JD, Bizarro and even to his mother when he still tried to protect her after what she done to him. Really confident and can appear sometimes as arrogant, but still pretty insecure. His philosophy was born from the harsh place he was raised in and firmly believe that he's right, but still doesn't see himself as a good guy. He's really a smartass and never miss a chance to make a joke, but he's still a very serious guy. He's a mental and has some serious anger issues, but he's still a pretty chill dude. I seriously can go on about how complex he is, but I don't like making a long post.

Her relationship with Bruce was interesting, and was the best part of the character. Bruce didn't need to be protective or push her to be better, he didn't need to be a hardass to make sure she would survive. He had to actually be a dad and not only a father. That is a nice change, Bruce usually only open up by watching movies or when his kids are in real danger, with Cass he had to actually act like a dad. Baby telling him to act like a normal person or he telling superman that his good for nothing clone should stay away from his little ninja princess. It was fun.

She wasn't given her own Batcave immediately. She got her own cave because she only cared about the life of a vigilante, not anything outside of that. The form was more a harsh reality check for her. The moment she went gallivanting without a mask in front of some government spooks, Batman took her away from Barbara and stuck her in a cave. Then it took Barbara having to fix Cassandra's mess and with the two of them working back to get Cass a secret identity again.

Also when she got her own cave was fourteen issues into her own ongoing. Also being the "insider" was the point. Of all the people in the Bat Family, Cassandra is the most committed to the Bat symbol. She wants to be Batman's heir. She doesn't want a life beyond this like Stephanie, Barbara, Dick, or Tim. She thinks only of the mission.

The only other person as committed to that is Bruce. Why Babs was her anchor in trying to steer her away from that at times. But she couldn't. Cass wants this life. She wants to use her skills and to atone for what she did.

Bruce, Alfred,Tim, and Barbara all realized this. Why even Tim had a freaking fantasy of his ideal world that Cassandra was the Batman in it. Of all the people in the Family at that time (prior to Damian) she could have been it.
