Hello /co/, I have come here to post my probably obvious theory on what will happen in the new season:
All this time, Jack has been trying to find a portal to go back to the past, and this will be the arc to finally have him realize that he needs to save the future before he can save the past. Basically, he will end up having to beat Aku twice, the first time to free the future, and the second time to free the past. After he beats future Aku, he will fight the time guardian again and beat him this time, allowing himself to travel back to the past. Then, it will show the clip of Jack getting sucked into the future, and suddenly the portal will re-open and he will appear from the future, completely shocking Aku. He will then fight him with his future tech and sword and defeat him, and due to correcting the timeline where he never got sent to the future, he fades away.

I think that's the point, The title alone conveys what the gist of the show is. A samurai (something ancient and traditional) and Jack ( a western everyday name you wouldn't normally associate with feudal Japan).

From the title you can already guess it will have action and samurai, but also something 'different'.
