Semen demon is an immortal/cosmic being that forges all the magical dimensional scissors that allows the characters to travel between dimensions.

She catches the boy abusing her scissors that he borrowed from a friend that she made herself which he didn't know was stolen from her. She challenges the boy to blow out the flame above her head if he wants to earn the scissors, but tricks him by showing how she has hundreds of clones of herself and that he'll need to blow them all.

It takes 16 years but the boy grows into a man, earns the respect and friendship (and much more methinks) of the semen demon as well as his own dimensional scissors. She later takes care of the mount he got during his journeys as well as allowing him to visit her anytime he wants. She marks him with a slap on the back of the head as he leaves back to his dimension where he reverts back to a young boy but still remembers his experiences.

Basically, he spent most of his life chasing after a semen demon.

Seems to be a trait limited to women in the Butterfly line, and not all of them either (though apparently every queen has had them). Moon's aunt has some despite probably never being queen, and they were specifically not shown on one of Star's male cousins (?) in the final episode even though he was drawn with them in a prototype sketch, so the female-only thing seems pretty official.

I'm assuming the ones marked with them have innate magic or can dip down, or at least can use magic/dip down more easily.

The card suits just seemed limited to the more plot-relevant characters (Star, Moon, Heinous, Eclipsa), and imply that Heinous is somehow related to Star. Though the fact that the "Grandma Room" is decorated with all four suits shows they seem significant in-universe too; maybe the most powerful markings.

None of this was ever explained; just assumptions based on the implications the show seems to be presenting us. The cheek symbols don't even have an official name yet. I'm expecting them to maybe get a mention in the book next month.

This show doesn't really do that. There are some episodes that aren't referenced again at all (Brittney's Party didn't change anything really) but this one is obviously "canon" now no matter how you interpret it.

Hekapoo will be appearing again, the scissors are different, etc. Whether Marco will reference what happened is up for debate but those two elements alone prove that it did.

Also for what it's worth people seem to have different ideas about the future implications of this. Some people see it as him being mentally 30, some people see it as him now having some battle experience, some people just view it as a dream-like thing that won't really change him. No matter how they choose to address it someone will get pissed off.
