Given how quickly they recovered all the Paladins after the wormhole incident, I'm afraid you might be speaking truth about that. I think Shirofags haven't committed mass suicide on the two virtues of 1. the writers potentially botching the "assuming leadership without Shiro around" thing by bringing him back in the space of minutes and 2.
