>MFW Las Leyendas got an actual series from US Netflix.
Holy shit, what?
>>89819783
No body mentions it was writed for the same guy from Scooby-Doo! Mystery, Inc.
>>89820068
https://www.netflix.com/title/80081863

>>89820165
Wait what!?
>>89820195
That's correct, i am actually impressed with artstyle improve, did other estudio help anima estudios?
>>89819783
Literally what.
>>89820270
A series of Mexican movies that now has a Netflix show.
>>89820328
So, this is a trailer for the movie? Or one of the movies?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HDVFTZ0EEgw
>>89819783
Okay /co/, for those of you who have no idea what this series is...
Are you still interested in the series after this small change?
>>89820437
Ghost mean girl is the only good thing from that mediocre movies
>>89820437
Honestly, knowing it's a cartoon based on an existing movie is enough to make me lose interest.
>>89820351
Yes. That is the trailer for the last movie from 2016.
Las Linda's! Good I hope Chalo starts taking in the money
>>89822479
I would but the article turns into a pro immigration, anti-Trump piece halfway down.
I'll post it only, if you all agree to it.
>>89822911
911. Oh no.
Here. Sauce. Om nom nom.

>>89823351
Thanks. I'm discovered these images is for clip of Netflix and goodnight.
>>89820351
Is the floating girl a ghost?
>>89824841
Yes.
>>89820165
One of the writers, at least.
One of the Mystery Inc showrunners is doing All Hail King Julien. The other one is doing the new Stretch Armstrong cartoon.
All of these are Netflix shows.
>>89824862
Neat
>>89820437
to be honest i like the second movie, i am a little interested
>>89819783
Las Lindas got a netflix series you say?
>>89819783
The girl is not as cute as she was before, to me at least.
>>89820437
Knowing nothing about it other than the trailer directly above and the screen shots, no I probably wouldn't watch it without the ghost girl. At the very least it would become lower on my priorities list unless people were raving about how good the writing was.

Was the guy who redesigned Teodora for Netflix a Gravity Falls fan? She looks kinda like Pacifica now.
What's with the glasses? I'd think they were just a fashion thing, but the glowing suggests they are magical.
>>89829979
The movies are pretty mediocre desu. I thought some of the other girls were pretty cute, like the native loli. I hope she's in the Netflix series.
I think the concept has potential, maybe the Netflix series will be like a Mexican Mighty Max. I always felt it'd work better as a show than movie anyways.
>>89820195
>No Clips Yet. I think it drops February the 24th.
Not even a sodding picture. Good advertising guys.
>>89820195
>>89832988
Do we know how many episodes there will be?
>>89833046
13 according to this: >>89823351
>>89819783
How? The movies were terrible.
I'd rather have another huevocartoon season.
>>89833094
Netflix seems to be good at turning terrible/mediocre movies into good cartoons, so I'll give it the benefit of the doubt.I hope it'll be good so we can get some Teodora lewds.
>>89829482
It's a step up from the promo picture from two years ago though.
>>89833125
Looking very Alphanim / Gaumont.
>>89822911
Artists gonna art learn to deal with it.
Peel off the opinion, eat the fun
>>89819783
actually that's pretty neat, original show was fucking atrocious
>>89824841
Is she a ghost from the future?
Her clothes look far more modern than the boy standing on the deck of an old sailing ship.
Also, is the old knight based on Don Quixote?
>>89833586
The ghost girl is weird. She's not from the future but she has future tech. The knight is based on Don Quixote.
I work at a movie theater and I wandered into this one by chance, subtitled even. It was interesting enough to get me into the series. Basically the first movie has the young boy fight a Mexican folk legend to save his brother, and in the process he gets recruited as a monster hunter by a monk. Weirdly enough, the first 3 movies were animated in flash. But Las Leyendas del Chupacabras, the one that was playing in my theater, was traditionally animated.
>>89833668
Cool. Going from the pics in this thread alone, it looks like it's set in the past (18th-19th Century?)
If so, by 'future tech' do you mean 'modern laptop and iphone' or 'sci-fi cyberpunk hoverboard spaceship' tech?
And do you know what the weird dragon is supposed to be?
>>89833728
Modern tech, camera phones and blow dryers and such. I have no idea about the dragon, she sort of just debuts in the 2nd movie and I think I just didn't pay enough attention to whether they actually explain her or not.
>>89833728
That's an alebrije.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alebrije
>>89833816
Interesting!
>>89833786
Thanks, anons.
This tickles my interest in things like folklore and cryptozoology, so I'll keep an eye out for it.
>>89826046
For a moment, I thought it was "The Impossibles 2017" or something.
>>89820437
Nice try, anon. I wanted to watch it for the boy in the first place. If she was a love-interest then it's an improvement.
Hopefully it's good.
>>89819783
Oh wow, what the fuck?
From all the animated movies, this one's probably the one I expected less to have a show in Netflix.
fucking madmen, how do they do it?
>>89836057
>fucking madmen, how do they do it?
They make like 800 million a month...that might be the answer
>>89836057
Because netflix wan to break through Latin American market, first wirth Narco series and then with soccer series and now with Mexican folklore cartoon
