Just had a baby boy /co/. What are some runs I should read/give to I'm so he has a good foundation in cape comics? I prefer DC but anything helps, I dont know where to start.

Get off 4chan and raise your child

Anon, I don't think newborn babies can read.

Fuck capeshit. Read him Bone.
The boys is a good start

Congratulations, OP.
You're going to have to wait a few years, so don't get too excited about comics. Also, sleep will become your most precious commodity. Have fun!
Make him grow up thinking he was shaped from clay.
Always walk down skeevy alleyways in the dark after seeing movies.
During earthquakes, convince him to hide in a rocketship.
Electrocute him in your basement.
Fuck a mermaid.

>good foundation
>cape comics
Awful parenting.
Why would you want to torture him with an outdated medium?

BABIES CAN'T READ, YA DUMMY.
NOW GO SPEND $15 FOR 10 PAGES OF CARDBOARD THAT SHOW AN ANIMAL ON EACH PAGE.
That is your life until he can learn to not rip up books. Then you read them Dr Seuss and other 5min stories (which you'll still pay top dollar for).
By the time they're 5-6 you'll go to the LCS and they'll have books for beginners that tell oversimplified Superman and Batman stories.

I know this is a joke, but really, give him Garfield books. They're full of simple phrasing in active voice with everything illustrated.

Superman Adventures
Batman Adventures v1
Those are literally the best DC comics of the last 25 years.

Congrats OP, I'm sure you're on cloud 9 right now.
Watch Batman Brave and the Bold with him in a few years
