The only way the Polly/Betty split personality thing could work is if only like a few people acknowledge or reference Polly. If I remember correctly the only people to mention Polly are the parents Betty and the Blossoms so maybe it's just a personality that comes out between them (but ooutside of that it's a stretch). Hell in the episode 8 spoiler they're talking about throwing Polly a baby shower so that basically kills the possibility unless they pull some bs where there's only one of them on screen at a time. They could pull a Laura Palmer/and her cousin with Polly and Betty being portrayed by the same actor but once again that's a stretch.
