What cartoons have been lost forever? This one from New Zealand, ZuZu & The SuperNuffs, can't be found anywhere online and the only sign that it existed is a few old promos floating around on YouTube.

I'm relatively confident this rolled out as "Kassai & Luk" when I was watching it in english. It was pretty much garbage but it had a catchy theme song.

Did anyone find the full video of that giant turkey chasing those three girls around?

English cut of Captain Redbeard. I can't remember anything but the catchy opening, which is the only proof it exists

Yes! This is why we should be the greatest cartoon website on the internet, because we get the previews, leaks, secrets and hidden gem cartoons nobody else would even have.

>>89782925
I love the art style, I wonder if the writing is any good.
And oh my god thank you so much I've finally found Polly and the Zhu Zhu pets.
I loved the theme song and never got to watch even 1 episode because I completely forgot the name. Thank you OP.

Again, this shit isn't so much lost, as is, no one gives a fuck about and put into some vault at some studio

Yume no Hoshi no Boton Nōzu, aka Dreamstar Button Nose. Is an american french/japanese joint production.

It used to air a lot during the 90-2000s in europe where we had Foxkids, a lot of cartoons were dubbed by SABAN entertainment.
Now sadly I can't seem to find any episodes, not even in my own language. Button Nose is nowhere to be found on Kisscartoon. I thought it was strawberry shortcake due to the strawberry crown, but nope.

Rainbow Cat and Blue Rabbit. This one isn't so much lost as it is simply unknown in Europe, America and the rest of the world except for China. Plus there's no english dubs and no english subs for it. Otherwise it's as big as Tiny Toons in China.

Any chance that show had of being known died when the threads got deleted. I subtitled episode 37 in full, since people seemed interested in that one due to the huge battle in it, but it wasn't meant to be.

I stopped doing the translations because each episode literally took me an entire day.

When did utube become the go to archive?
Check libraries, not only for copies, but for archives that were donated over the years by artists, producers and the like. Ask anyone connected, no matter how distant, if anybody or anybody they know donated, or even mentioned, doing that.
Stick with it.....after all, a year or so ago, we got Cybersix.

I know of the following cartoon:

Detention! (90s WB Cartoon), pic related.
The Legend of Calamity Jane (only missing two english episodes)
The Baskervilles.

But good news is sometimes these recovery projects succeed. I was part of the successful Pepper Ann Lost Media project.

Was lost and then got uploaded to Hulu. Then it was taken down and no one ripped it.

I remember seeing one episode as a kid and thought I just fever dreamed it.

Or were all of those finally recovered?

To be fair, ripping from Hulu is supposedly really difficult. I've never found a way to actually do it.

>>89790278
We've only got 3 whole episodes in crappy quality ripped from YouTube.

A lot of progress was made in the last two years in the restoration and discovery of artifacts of the 1973 adaption of Doraemon. Lost Media Wiki has a new mega link to a zip file with a huge collection of assets, including fairly high quality film scans from previously unseen episodes, from which people have recently begun attempting their own reconstructions. Also, sometime in 2015, someone discovered footage of the show's actual broadcast on a television screen seen in the background of a porno from 1973.

whats so special about doraemon in 1973?
>>
>>89787399
This show only had 13 episodes before it got abruptly cancelled.

Shame too... the characters despite being stereotypes are incredibly chatty, sapient, energetic and capable of interacting with each other properly. Unlike the Loud House where everyone is anti-social and only interacts with the other when they want something.

The British dub of ni hao kailan, and there's an anime based off either a European or an American book series but I can't remember what it's called but I'll start looking.

Here's one. It's the English dub of "Hakushon Daimaou", produced by Saban in the early 90's.

http://lostmediawiki.com/Bob_in_a_Bottle_(Lost_Saban_English_Dub_of_Anime_Series;_1992)

It never aired in the States, but it did get airplay in Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

It was the first adaption of Doraemon to television and only lasted one season despite a fairly successful run, because the network's president stepped down halfway through production and the one who replaced him didn't like the show (supposedly). Apparently, the studio eventually collapsed and began selling the show's assets toward the end. As a result many traces of it are scattered.

The adaption everyone knows about started in 1979, and even though this early one was popular during its brief run and there are still people who recall its original broadcast, traces of the show have all but disappeared for the last 40 years. Many of these things that have been uncovered are only recently popping up.
