exactly 3 years ago WB gave us the Lego Movie, a toy commercial that was a surprising good movie for people of all ages.
to celebrate tommorrow's release of it's first spinoff/sequel, i decided to make some interesting screenshots, this movie is so packed with gags, you never get bored rewatching it.

"One day, a talented lass or fellow, a special one with face of yellow, will make the Piece of Resistance found from it's hiding refuge underground, and with a noble army at the helm, this Master Builder will thwart the Kragle and save the realm, and be the greatest, most interesting, most important person of all times. All this is true because it rhymes. "

I'm really on the fence about LEGO Batman because while I want to see more of that visual style that made the first movie stand out, I have no heavy interest in Batman, and that was already the most blantantly commercialized aspect of the first film.
>>89778589
Oh hey, that's the actual Cloud Cuckooland lego set on the left, neat.
>>89778369
I remember the official Italian Nintendo magazine mentioning it every time a new Animal Crossing game was released swearing that the game series must have been influenced by Fabuland.

I was so happy to have Shaq in this. The NBA line was the starting point for the flesh colored licence sets.
>>89784761
LEGO's foray into sports sets was...interesting. I still remember those football sets.
>>89778082That line makes so much sense when you consider a kid is acting it out.

>>89787935
Between this and playing a washed up Baloo grappling with dementia on Pickle and Peanut, Shaq is pretty cool.
>>89789694
But does all that make up for Kazaam? Or Steel?
Just watched Lego Batman. It made me want to watch both movies in frame-by-frame to see all the little details.
>>89778312
I was disappointed that this helicopter wasn't an actual set.
