If the inhuman royalty do indeed let the x-men destroy the last cloud upon hearing that it will kill them within the week, then this event can only be blamed on Hank McCoy. He, despite spending 8 fucking months with them was not able to get enough of a grasp of Medusa's character to appropriately determine if she was trustworthy enough to inform of the situation before going to the X-men. He didn't trust her and if the fuck that spent 8 months holed up with inhumans, speaking with them daily didn't trust her, then why the fuck should any of the other mutants doubt that she'd protect the cloud?

He went to mutants and told them the truth because he feared what would happen if he told the Inhumans first. Of course all of this hinges on him being wrong about Medusa. If she disagrees with the idea of destroying the cloud even after hearing that mutants will die in a week then he was right.

Still this event is retarded anyways because of all the alternate solutions to the cloud problem conveniently ignored for 8 months in favor of looking for a cure to a new disease. Hey remember that machine Forge whipped up last issue to suck up and solidify the cloud (and burn it afterwards)? The recent continuity concerning terrigen is all over the place but before secret wars the substance was 100% lethal to anyone not an inhuman or mutant and still volatile enough for inhumans to have had their society previously require genetic testing to be sure it wouldn't be too extreme by even their standards.

Issue 5
The young Inhumans go hat in hand to the X-Men and offer to help them destroy the cloud because they realize at long last how stupid it was to let it run around.

Medusa and the Inhumans curb stomp Colossus and Medusa decides to destroy the school after all. Johnny REFUSES and tells her to fuck off and leaves her.

Emma has a full-on nervous breaks down, because the series got rewritten to be pro-X-Men halfway through when they realized they fucked up making it all pro-Inhuman.

And by nervous breakdown, I mean she goes full on crying woman and Storm comforts her because she realizes Emma is fucked in the head. Even confides to Storm the truth about Scott's death.

Kitty Pryde shows up to deux ex machina rebuild the machine to destroy the Terrigin Cloud.

Medusa contacts Ms Marvel asking where the fuck they are because they are going to fuck the X-Men up. Kamala tells them they are helping destroy the cloud because it's going to make the planet unlivable for mutants. Medusa reveals she's known that for MONTHS and has PURPOSELY hid this from Beast, which leads to Beast showing up on screen and telling Medusa to go fuck herself.

Medusa flat out STATES that she would gladly see all Mutantkind die than let anything happen to the Terrigin Mist and Kamala tells her that the young Inhumans will never let her do that.

Medusa plays the "I'm your Queen!" card and Kamala tells her to fuck off. Medusa orders the Royal family to attack the X-MEn and kill them all and any Inhuman traitors helping the X-Men. Unfortunately, Crystal then chimes in that the X-Men have posted the ENTIRE INTERACTION between Beast and Kamala and Medusa online, which basically single-handedly turns the public against the Inhumans.

X-Men get ready to activate the machine. Kitty brags about having one last trick up her sleeves.....

We get the Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers, Champions, and other major heroes attacking the Inhumans Royal Family. Including Steve Rogers, who before they dog pile Medusa, tell her she can stand down or get the ass kicking she's been cruising for ever since they unleashed their death cloud on the public.

The cloud is destroyed.

Issue 6 epilogue


The entire Royal Family, Black Bolt included are in jail. Storm, Beast, Emma, and Steve Rogers talk about what to do with them. Steve wants to put them on trial for crimes against mutantkind and Beast and Storm want this too, but Emma reveals that Scott would not want this and pleads mercy for the Inhumans. Kamala then shows up and offers her idea.

We cut to Medusa in jail as Kamala shows up. Medusa is full of vile and venom, calling her a traitor who will be dealt with via the day of the rope but Kamala tells her to shut the fuck up. Kamala officially expels the ENTIRE Royal Inhuman family from Earth and announces that the bulk of the new Inhumans want nothing to do with them. Medusa is furious and vows revenge until Black Bolt comes out.

Black Bolt has accepted the terms laid out by Kamala for banishment, Kamala reveals, and will personally escort them off Earth. Medusa is furious but Crystal and Gorgon force her to accept it.

Ending is the rebuilding of the X-Men mansion. Beast and Storm reconcile, Magik invites Kitty to rejoin the X-Men, and the final scene is Magneto watching Emma sneak off. Magneto asks why Emma isn't going to stay around. Emma takes all of the blame for Scott turning into Mutant Hitler, claiming she "corrupted" Scott and blames herself for his death.

Furthermore she spent every moment since his death plotting violent revenge against the Inhumans, until she had a moment of clarity in her hatred and realized Scott would be disgusted with her returning to her evil roots. So she's going away and walks off into the sunset as the Inhuman Royal Family and some of the new Inhumans who remained loyal to them fly off into space.
