Why is the robo hivemind taking an interest in this case specifically? Is this really the sole (or at least most egregious) instance of one AI taking advantage of another, in the whole world?

My theory is that back during Bubbles time as a (basically) black ops soldier she ran a couple missions that the robo hivemind is interested in for some reason (government working to combat the hivemind? Maybe espionage or sabotage of AI rights?) and wanted to see things from her POV, but thanks to Corpse Witch they're gone.

However, if Corpse Witch is half as smart as she thinks she is, it's possible she just downloaded the memories onto it's own quantum hard drive (or whatever technobabble he wants to use to say she saved them) and is going to give them to the robo hivemind in exchange for her continued existence and freedom, where she probably just runs like hell, gets a new chassis, and tries to start up her illegal robot fights once again.
