Is there a more depressing comic than Ultimate X-Men NOTHING

That's true for pretty much every Ultimate comic though. It's the NOTHING GOES RIGHT universe

desu I wanted it to be the universe where everyone dies heroically/realistically, but there will always be a spark of them left. Too bad that gets shot to shit when you see half the heroes drown off the screen and get eaten.

Final chapter even has everyone killed by tigers, as encouraged by Spider-man, who realizes that everyone is full of shit and needs to die.

Spider-man the manga is such a strange story, every time someone tries to story time it they disappear partway in and are never heard from again. Computer dies, maybe they died, who knows.

I don't think anyone has finished it in one go before. At best a story-time has had to be picked up by three different guys one time since the story-timers kept dying.

It's not actually a Marvel comic character, it's a Marvel property given over to Mangaland to do with as they please. (within obvious limitations)
They also did this with the X-Men property.
I hated everything about that one.
And DC's done this with Batman.
That was actually a long time ago, and it was better than the 'Merica stories they were putting out at the time.
But for instance, the original characters created in the Manga aren't owned by the American company, in the end they only own the original concept that the story is based on.
Then things get wrapped up in international copyrights and lawyer goblitigoop.
