So, I decided to check out a couple episodes of The Mr. Peabody & Sherman Show Season 1 on Netflix. And, I gotta say it's actually pretty good.
>mr. peabody and sherman are both likable
>the stories get quite creative
>nice character designs for most
>some chuckleworthy moments
>funny historical caricatures
Everything seems to be going for the show...
And, then there are the talk show segments with the live studio audience and shit.
>annoying laugh tracks
>bogs down pacing
>stereotypical sassy black woman
>leaves me cringing until they get back to the story
>only saving grace is christine's thiccness
It's too bad because I'm a sucker for cartoons that make fun of history but the last one I can remember was Time Squad (though if there is a more recent one correct me)
Does it get better?
Also, just general Peabody and Sherman thread (if you wanna talk about the original or movie, go on ahead I guess)
See it's like how the rocky and bullwinkle show was like a vaudeville variety show, but this is a more modern kind of variety show.
>stereotypical sassy black woman
I'm sorry, is that supposed to be a bad thing? Christine is great and needs more art.

Is it me or does this show have next to no fan following? I haven't seen it, but I'm guessing it's good, so that's too bad

I like it a lot, personally. Lots of fun, including the talk show segments.
In before slutty feet
Is Penny even a part of the show?
>ywn let her ride you bareback like a horse
>>89702737
nope
which is odd, since some of the movie characters do return

They mentioned her. Maybe in season 3.

Maybe.

I binge watched the whole thing a couple months ago. Loved it. It gets better as it goes on, the animation gets really expressive in season 2/3
