They're two completely different girls for people with different tastes. Thats the thing about Teen Titans. They got a waifu for everyone. In my own opinion though, I prefer Raven because of her cold exterior yet warm and compassionate interior to those she is close to, being unintentionally funny due to the deadpan delivery of her sentences and snarkiness, her sultry voice, her hips, her legs, her bust and so on. I don't know what it is but there's just this aura that Raven gives off that attracts guys (creeps) like me.

Yeah I've thought about drawing the characters from avatar since I'm a big fan of that show too. I don't know about everyone else, but I kinda treat the JLvsTT Raven as a completely different character that just happens to share the same name as the animated series TT Raven. Consider: Primarchs are considered among the toppest of top tier 40K fighters. There is some really powerful stuff in 40K, but most things can't hold a candle to cosmis superheroes, simply because they often combine incredible speed with incredible strength. There are very few things in 40K that can fight a supersonic opponent, let alone one that can almost hit lightspeed. Starfire is totally vulnerable to psykershit though.

You make a good point that her being a spooky eldrich horror entity. The way I see Raven is she's in this weird limbo state of being both human and demon and yet neither at the same time. Since she has the genes of her mother and Trigon in her, she is neither fully demon nor fully human. In Raven's defense she does seem to reject her demonic side and prefer her human form as it probably reminds her less of the influence Trigon has over her. That's gotta count for something in my book and the idea of her doing her best to suppress her demon form and try to be human just makes me love her more.
