Seriously?
>>
>>89649116
Eh. It was marketing schlock. But it was that style of colorful dumb fun schlock inherent to the 90s. Watched it a lot as a kid.
>>
>>89649116
I never understand why co hates this movie too much. It a nineties movie oriented to childrens with M. Jordan interacting with the Looney Toones. It's all.

I saw it when kid. I loved it in that moment.

Why was it necessary to have a fuckable rabbit in this movie?
>>
>>89649116
Roger Egbert also gave pic related 4.5 stars.

Man, maybe film critics really do know jack shit about films.
>>
>>89649116

We know it's a good movie it's just the media that
s trying to tell you, your taste is shit even though it not.
>>
>>89661695
Nothing is really necessary.

>>89662996
Siskel gave Carnosaur a thumbs up.
>>
>>89662996

But revenge of the sith was good. The clones were interesting, so were the CIS, grievous was entertaining if underpowered, order 66 is one of the best scenes in the series, the storm of th jedi temple was intimidating. The soundtrack was on point, this is probably the only star wars movie where all the characters have finally learned how to act for film, and the light saber battles weren't awkward swings or ballet moves.

The only dumb scenes were how the duels ended, such as the fucking high ground one. You could cripple anakin by making him cocky, or trying to move something stupidly large and failing, but no he has to join the paralympics acrobatics squad.

Add that to yoda just giving the fuck up when he clearly had the upper hand after one setback, and dooku not speaking up.
>>
>>89652423
Who is that on the right?
>>
>>89661695
So that sad adults would keep talking about it 20 years later and demand a sequel
>>
>>89649116
Eh not really.

I hate how it does this close up animation thing throughout the movie.
Micheal Jordan ain't that good of an actor.
Why didn't the Looney Tunes think of cheating sooner?
The Looney Tunes show Micheal Jordan can do crazy thing cause of their squash and stretch physics yet still they were able to get physically hurt and knocked out of the game?
And there are plenty other plot holes but it just comes down to it not being as entertaining as it could have been.

Looney Tunes back in action was better.

It's not really at all funny without some beers and some friends.
>>

>I never understand why co hates this movie too much.

same reason co hates everything. because it's there.
>>
>>89649116
I'm surprised they haven't made a sequel to this with a new basketball star, people would see it.
>>
>>89663612
>The only dumb scenes were how the duels ended

And the part where Yoda knows Chewie, for no reason other than brainless easter eggs

And the part where Grievous is a crippling shadow of his former self

And the part where Anakin thoughtlessly murders children not 10 minutes after turning to the dark side, which was meant to be a questionable decision

And the fact that Yoda jumps around like a spastic instead of using the force as his ally

These are just off the top of my head, anon. It wasn't a good movie. It was 5.5/10 on a good day
>>

>bunnies are symbols of fertility

did you all know that rabbits ovulate on cue? they don't have a time of month. every time you fucked lola, she'd release an egg.

ywn impregnate lola every day for the rest of your life as she begs for you to put bunnies in her oven and drop the newborn kids off at school the next day

Still amazes, given that he frequently felt like the very epitome of a tight ass critic who hates everything that isn't pure Oscar bait.

I remember that Friday the 13th triggered him so badly that he gave out Betsy Palmer's personal address so soccer moms could bitch to her (never mind that she was just an actress, not the director or writer or producer; even worse when you remember that after the film came Adrienne King had to deal with a stalker).

Meh, not that bad, even if a little on the nose.

>And the part where Grievous is a crippling shadow of his former self
He had no former self. His only other appearance was in the cartoon, and everything was way over the top in that.

>And the part where Anakin thoughtlessly murders children not 10 minutes after turning to the dark side, which was meant to be a questionable decision
Kinda the whole point of the dark side -- it makes you evil and corruptable.

>And the fact that Yoda jumps around like a spastic instead of using the force as his ally
He did use the force during the fight. Also it was a fucking awesome fight.
