I would like to continue our development of the duo known as Double-Edge, Hatchet and Slingshot. If I read right we decided that Hatchet is the leader of the duo while Slingshot is his female sidekick. Both are based off of Green Arrow and Speedy in that they used the same weapon as their namesake and that one has a far left political viewpoint while the other has a far right political viewpoint. I'm not sure if it was established that one is of Native American heritage.

I think now we should get ethnic backgrounds thought out and establish names and backgrounds.

Anon isn't wrong, tho. It's really strange for dialog balloons to cover faces even when they're background characters. They obscure the floating island in the top panel, as well.
Consider re-working to placement of the word balloons. There's considerably amount of negative space within the panels to accommodate them without disrespecting the lovely artwork underneath.

Last couple of threads were more active than the norm, but this level of inactivity sadly feels like the norm.

Had a few ideas for a trio of females that could use some fleshing out.

Alley Numan AKA Foil. Alley is a 16 year old who's father, Al Numan is the (non powered) older brother to Anthony Numan AKA Millennial Man. Foil gets her name from her ability to change into a state of a foil like substance making herself near indestructible. Think Emma Frosts diamond skin, but with aluminum foil. Alley can twist and shape her body into any shape and can become a dense ball or a very delicate piece of foil.

Michelle Peters AKA Schoolgirl. At 18 years old, Michelle is a martial arts prodigy. Wearing a typical school girl outfit along with a domino mask, Schoolgirl is the leader of the unnamed trio of ass kickers. I think of Schoolgirl as an older Sexy version of Hit-Girl. Some of her inspiration for her alter ego comes from her love of Sailor Moon. She started training in martial arts from an early age when her mother and father were beaten to death in front of her by a gang of street ninjas because they wouldn't pay protection money. Michelle is half Korean.

The last character of the trio is the least thought out of the three girls. Parachute Princess. She would be a masked fighter who always wears a parachute. I envisioned her in the same vein as that moon man rider guy from one punch man. Kind of an inspirational joke character.

Let's get some constructive criticism here.

You're pitching too much and at the same time not enough. You have two ways you can go with a communal project like this, either give a simple prompt to spark character development from there, or take full charge and post enough to show you've got a clear idea in mind that you plan to spearhead development of. What you're doing right now makes it feel like you're putting out "your" characters and trying to get someone else to do the work on them for you, just fishing for art and writing. Nobody else is invested in these ideas, because they're too far along to be part of the creation stage, but they're not developed enough to be compelling any interest.

Also, saying "Think Emma Frost" or "version of Hit-Girl" just makes them seem unoriginal.

The problem arises in deciding who or what would have such a power.

I'd like it to be a demon unbound to the kings who sought power from the void and returned only with madness, but was sustained by it.

Though most ideas I could come up with for a character with this power don't really feel all that interesting to me.
The power is interesting, but without an equally interesting character to have it, it just feels squandered.

The demon setting, or at least the Courier's Guild setting, feels overloaded with characters already, I'm not sure it needs more. It might fit better as a foe for Containment, a threat which is generating things that need to be contained but is, itself, difficult to identify. So they can treat the symptoms, but not the source of the problem.

Though if it were to be a Courier's Guild thing, I might suggest it's not so much a demon who sought power as maybe a fellow courier who had their cloak malfunction and fling them into the void?

T-jay and rex.
T-jay is a normal backward wearing cap, 10 year old boy with one small hitch, he can bring anything to life he wants,he just doesn't know it yet.
Rex is the prefect pet,he is caring,lovable and cuddly,or a cuddly as a living T-rex skeleton can be.

In the /coc/ setting, dryads are fairly rare, with the general decline of magic, especially in America. One of the potential origins for FT is that he's a male dryad, a very rare type of creature even before the decline. Being that he's homosexual and the likelihood of meeting another male dryad is very low (and further, the likelihood of meeting another homosexual male dryad is extraordinarily low) FT has a lot of frustration about his potential love life, and he's suffered a lot of derision for it.

PW is seemingly a "normal" dryad, which FT may have created while attempting to grow himself a partner. The fact that, despite all his effort, she turned out completely vanilla was most likely infuriating to him. She's a failed project to him, which he loathes and possibly slightly envies.

She most likely has many of the same abilities as FT himself, though weaker for her youth, so she can do the basic administration work that FT doesn't feel like doing. As a result, she's just barely more useful than she is obnoxious to him. FT is a very colorful plant, as are many of the creatures in his forest, and even despite her usefulness, he sees PW as something of an eyesore for her fairly muted color scheme.

She can't do her job as an administrator and reign him in, because he practically gets to carry his own leash. She's resentful of him, and he's likely made no effort to endear himself to her. She's too busy to be directly spying on him, that's Maw and Jaw's job. FT gave VFT free reign to "handle" BK, but eventually gets bored of waiting and reels him in using M&J. He's "understanding", realizing that VFT's feelings for BK have gone past manipulation and blossomed into genuine affection, and suggest that there's a simple solution to the issue. /co/verse has always been in the Creator Age. Inspired /co/mrades with a true and authentic love of fiction come to these threads to create.

No, no, at most he'd be pithy about how she dropped him, but he's actually serious about getting VFT to cough up some details about what he's been doing. VFT is his favorite, so he gave him considerable lenience and agency, but at the same time, because Flytrap IS his favorite, he thinks VFT isn't living up to his standards by seemingly slacking off. He's actually a little excited to find out VFT seems to be genuinely falling for BK, because getting VFT to kill someone he loves would confirm that VFT is everything FT wants him to be.

FT's brand of favoritism isn't completely doting, even if it's typically light-handed. It's more the sort where his favorite is only answerable to FT himself, so PW can't do anything to them without direct orders, but FT isn't afraid to crack the whip when it's in his own hands.

The scene, from VFT's perspective, should be initially tense, an edge of uncertainty and fear about what FT might do or want from him, then easing into relief when FT seems jovial and sympathetic about VFT's budding romance, then shock and despair when FT gives him the order to kill BK. PW, aside from possibly a harsh comment at the beginning, would be delighted and self-satisfied to see the start of it, get frustrated as it seems like VFT is swinging things back in his favor, and then ecstatic from the kill order. It's only as VFT is leaving that she sees how genuinely shaken and distraught he's become, realizing quite suddenly that VFT is as much a victim of FT's abuse as she is.

Technically, the brunette is because the overlay that's applied over the figure, but on the base layer is the same color as the comic. The reason for having lighter color then black is to have a bit more articulation. Although I will try to draw her in black hair later on and see how it turn out.

Domino Masks always looks sexy as fuck, but I think giving them both hoods would be a mistake. We've talked about giving Hatchet a big Native American Headdress which would be kind of perfect for his character. He wants to do the right thing but is really out of touch with the rest of the world. And I think that giving Slingshot something like a single feather in her hair would fit nicely as it's not something you see a whole lot in character designs. Giving both of them hoods would take away a little bit of what makes both of them special I think

As for information was around when they were being put together. They were created through the same spitballing process that gave us /co/lette, being a fusion of different characters. (The short one is an offshoot that came about during the creative process that gave us the 'main' one.)

The tall one is a sassy superpowered cyborg catgirl named /co/leen, loves the spotlight and seems to have something of a rivalry with /co/lette due to their similar origins

The short one, Dr Professor Clawdia McMechaknickers (Esq.), is a mad scientist with a cat-obsession. She is often seen serving as /co/leen's "hype man" in the background.
